GE-NMF Primary Care Leadership Program

This innovative service-learning program provides students with an opportunity to examine the challenges and rewards of primary care practice at community health centers (CHC) across the United States.  PCLP Scholars will each receive a $5,000 scholarship stipend that is expected to cover travel, living, and lodging expenses during the service-learning experience period.  Candidates must have proof of U.S. citizenship, be currently enrolled in an accredited medical school or graduate-level nursing degree program, be an underrepresented minority student and/or a socioeconomically disadvantaged student, demonstrate leadership early in their career, and have a commitment to serving medically underserved communities.
